Black Ops Cold War recently merged with Warzone, bringing a host of new weaponry to Battle Royale. Unfortunately, this led to an oppressive DMR 14 ruining the war zone for many players.
Whether you’re a fan of the Cold War or not, there’s no denying that it’s nice to see some new weaponry in Warzone. However, what is not so good is that there is a particular weapon that seems to be breaking the game.
During the Christmas holidays, players found a gun over and over again. We think this would happen because we have listed DMR as Warzone’s best weapon.
The powerful Tactical Rifle is something to see, but the DMR is ruining Warzone for many fans. With one or two bullets being enough to take down enemies at a tremendous distance, it is clear that something needs to change.
War zone DMR needs a Nerf
In the past few days, the Warzone subreddit has exploded with clips of the DMR 14 in action. And from what we can see, a nerf is sorely needed.
Some players speculate that Activision is pressuring players to buy Cold War in order to quickly unlock attachments. These same critics also do not believe that the game will be fixed anytime soon.
In a new Reddit post entitled “DMR makes this game impossible to play”, a user details his feelings:
I don’t care about people using Mac 10, yes, it’s powerful, but you can still counterattack. The dmr is a double shot and the entire lobby is using it now. This game is in an impossible state to play with this weapon and we all know that activision will nerf it in 2 to 3 months, when everyone has finished buying the Cold War and their weapon skins.
The Reddit user ends his post with: “This is the worst meta weapon that has ever existed in this game.”
And we don’t have to look too hard to see why they feel that way.
Clips of the broken war zone DMR in action
Almost as if trying to prove that DMR 14 is broken, a user shows off his Warzone skills in a new insane clip. On two separate occasions, this player is able to fall from the sky and shoot an enemy with the DMR with ease.
Thanks to the lack of recoil and insane stopping power, DMR is a hacker’s best friend. This cheater is able to delete an entire lobby, thanks to the Cold War weapon.
After hearing stories of how good the DMR 14 is, a user thought he would test the weapon on his own. After a single shot is enough to eliminate a passing enemy, they now understand the weapon’s true potential.
One user found a new solution to deal with the influx of DMR users. Despite being almost instantly killed by the rifle, this Warzone fan is taking extreme measures to fight enemy players.
