1,965,485 people were tested for COVID-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 7,331 new tests.
The continuous average of positive cases over seven days is now 1,794, or about 19.4% of those tested.

461 people are currently hospitalized. 13,016 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.
Deaths
13 new deaths were reported, including four that occurred in 2020. The Office of the Medical Examiner conducts thorough investigations of all potential COVID-related deaths. These investigations can take several weeks to complete. Recently reported deaths include:
