Xbox is provoking that future Square Enix and People can fly Outriders of the game may arrive at Xbox Game Pass through a series of cryptic tweets from your social media accounts.

As noted by our friends at Eurogamer, the latest tweets from the often enigmatic people behind the Xbox Game Pass account basically stop before saying that Square Enix’s loot-obsessed cooperative RPG is coming to the subscription service.

In the last episode of the account’s antics, a fake “Melissa McGamepass” email asks if “someone else has noticed a mysterious sign showing up in the distance lately”. The answer states: “Am I the anomaly in this situation?” which led Redditors to believe that Outriders is coming to the Xbox Game Pass, thanks to the text and content of the emails.

There is no word on when the game will arrive in service – if it is really due to land on it – but we usually see games triggered by the account in this way arriving in service soon after (see Rainbow Six Siege and Control). The game will be released on April 1st.

Recently, we heard that Outriders may not be a live service, but developers will not “abandon it after launch”. In addition, despite how many players can be attracted to the game if it appears on the Xbox Game Pass, Outriders will not have dedicated servers.

In the future, it has been suggested that Microsoft may offer a family plan similar to Spotify for Xbox Game Pass – and why not? Microsoft has consistently updated what the Xbox Game Pass offers, adding game streaming and EA Play to the service since it was first announced. The latest shared figures suggest that the Xbox Game Pass has at least 18 million users.
