OSDH Announces New COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

The Oklahoma State Department of Health said the new appointments will now be published from Wednesday nights until Thursday mornings.

The state expects to receive about 50,000 doses of the vaccine next week.

Tulsa County said its nominations for the COVID-19 vaccine have already been filled. No word on how many slots remain open in Oklahoma County.

Registration through the portal does not guarantee scheduling. The state will send you an email when scheduling is available. Make sure to schedule the appointment as soon as you receive the email.

“The vaccine we receive each week is scheduled for distribution within a week,” said Oklahoma Deputy Health Commissioner Keith Reed. “The vaccine and vaccine supply are freely available to the public.”

The state health commissioner is warning the public about vaccine fraud. The state wants to remember that there is no way to get early access to a vaccine.
