Speaking to the British newspaper The Sunday Times, the actor revealed his daily “pretty LA” routine and his production goals.
Orlando Bloom was on the rise for all the wrong reasons on Sunday after a newspaper interview with the British actor became a source of mockery on social media.
In an interview published in the UK newspaper The Sunday Times, Bloom revealed a typical day of his life, outlining his diet, his healthy lifestyle, living with partner Katy Perry and his daughter Daisy, in addition to alluding to his film and TV production work.
Bloom says that after spending time with Daisy, he starts his day with 20 minutes of Buddhist chants, before reading a “bit of Buddhism” and typing and adding it to his Instagram stories. The actor says he tries to avoid looking at the phone because he doesn’t “want to be sucked into the black hole of social media.”
THE Carnival Row star then described his unique breakfast regime. “I like to get my breakfast, so I’ll just want some green powders that I mix with cerebral octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails and a little bit of protein. It’s all pretty LA, actually. Walk while I listen. some Pilots from Nirvana or the Stone Temple. “
He continued: “Around 9 am, it’s breakfast, which is usually porridge, some hazelnut milk, cinnamon, vanilla paste, hazelnuts, goji berries, a vegan powdered protein and a cup of PG Tips [tea]. I’m 90% vegetable, so I only eat a good piece of red meat maybe once a month. Sometimes I look at a cow and I think, this is the most beautiful thing of all. “
Twitter users quickly stick to Bloom’s rather unique diet, with many users wondering if the actor was joking and others mocking his healthy lifestyle.
Later in the interview, Bloom talks about his working day at his production company and how, under his exclusive deal with Amazon Studios, he spends “a lot of time dreaming about roles for me and others – for minorities and women.” “I’m trying to be a voice for everyone,” he adds.
Bloom signed an initial film and TV contract with Amazon in December 2019. Under the pact, the actor-producer will create and develop new TV and film projects for the streaming giant.
