For a limited time, Facebook is selling refurbished versions of the original Oculus Quest for $ 199.
The offer brings the original $ 100 Oculus Quest below the base price of Oculus Quest 2. It also brings Quest to the price coveted by Oculus Go, now discontinued, while offering a very powerful game-focused system.
The product website advertises “as new” and says “All Oculus Quest refurbished products are inspected, cleaned and tested to work and look new. “

We don’t know how long the supplies will last, but this is certainly a tempting offer for those looking to obtain a Quest, but without the funds to obtain it, device and will probably be supported for a much longer period because of the more powerful XR2 processor on the latest device. We recommend buying Quest 2 instead of the original if you can afford it, but $ 199 for room-scale VR with a content library as strong as Quest’s is still a very attractive package. Also remember that the original Quest is much heavier than Quest 2.
