Oregon State Beavers leads Loyola Chicago in the 2nd half: live updates of the NCAA Sweet 16 men’s tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – The state of Oregon is trying to win its third game of the NCAA Tournament this season for the third time in school history, when the Beavers with 12th place face Loyola from Chicago in 8th place in the Midwest Region Sweet 16 game at 11:40 am on Saturday. The Beavers won three NCAA tournament games in 1963 and 1982. This is OSU’s first appearance on Sweet 16 since 1982, when the Beavers won to reach the Western Region final.

Oregon State has its biggest advantage of the game, with the Beavers winning 33-22 at the 15:49 mark of the second half. Jarod Lucas dropped a three-point basket with 16:06 left to increase the advantage, for Lucas’s first points in the match. Ethan Thompson has up to 12 points, while Roman Silva, Warith Alatishe and Rodrigue Andela have four points each. The percentage of shots fired in the state of Oregon is 37.5%, while Loyola is still at 22.2%.
