Vaccinations in Oregon
OHA is providing daily updates on doses administered for COVID-19 vaccines in Oregon on its vaccination data panel.
On Monday, 4,356 doses of the vaccine were administered, bringing the total number of first doses of the vaccine in the state to 25,972. All vaccinations took place in Oregon hospitals and long-term care facilities, said OHA.
The St. Charles Health System reported that it has given 1,415 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines so far.
The state panel provides updates during the week on the number of people vaccinated, both by state and county, along with important demographic information showing the race, ethnicity, sex and age of all who were vaccinated. OHA will begin publishing this data over the weekends starting on Saturday, January 2.
The new dashboard provides a snapshot of daily numbers, trends
On Tuesday, OHA unveiled a new data panel that compiles COVID-19 cases and other data in a unique, interactive format. The panel will include new cases, daily averages of seven days of cases, patients with COVID-19 who are currently hospitalized, reported test results and new deaths. The panel will be updated from Monday to Friday.
The information on the panel comes from existing data. One of the panel’s features is a graph that shows the number of new cases until the date they are notified to a public health authority, along with the daily average of seven days of cases. These numbers align with the number of new cases reported in our daily press release and Daily Update.
You can find the new panel on the OHA COVID-19 website. In the drop-down menus, click on “Daily update”.

The total number of patients in hospital beds can fluctuate between reporting times. The figures do not reflect hospitalizations per day, nor the length of stay. Personnel limitations are not captured in this data and can further limit the capacity of beds.
