Oregon reports 1 more death from COVID-19; 305 cases is the smallest in almost 4 months

PORTLAND, Oregon. (KTVZ) – There is a new COVID-19-related death in Oregon, increasing the number of deaths in the state to 2,024 and 305 new cases, the lowest daily count in almost four months, the Oregon Health Authority reported Monday. market.

Vaccinations in Oregon

The OHA reported that 18,255 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added on Monday to the state’s immunization registry. Of that total, 10,515 doses were administered on Sunday and 7,740 on previous days, but entered the vaccine record on Sunday.

The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across Oregon is 221, nine fewer than on Sunday. There are 55 patients with COVID-19 in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, that is, two more than on Sunday.

The total number of patients in hospital beds can fluctuate between reporting times. The figures do not reflect hospitalizations per day, nor the length of stay. Personnel limitations are not captured in this data and can further limit the capacity of beds.
