Syracuse, NY – Onondaga County is opening reservations for about 1,000 coronavirus vaccine consultations.

Registration will begin at 10 am on Tuesday, February 16, on the county’s vaccine page. Eligible are those on the state list for Phases 1a and 1b, covering a wide range of people.

There will also be places reserved for OnList, the waiting list for seniors created in recent weeks.

Previous county vaccine openings have attracted overwhelming interest, bringing the site down on at least two occasions after hundreds of thousands of clicks.

As of Monday night, the state also had remaining vaccine appointments open at the state fairgrounds, near Syracuse.
