The OnePlus brand has grown considerably in popularity in recent years and, at that time, also built a huge and loyal fan base. These fans have been clamoring for a smartwatch made by the company and, with a new teaser, it certainly looks like the OnePlus watch is coming this month.
Rumors of a OnePlus watch have been around for months, with even some direct mentions of the company in recent memory. In fact, a trusted informant said the clock was due in October 2020, but it was late.
Now, according to an official teaser, it certainly looks like March 23 will be the long-awaited day. The official OnePlus account on Twitter posted a short video on Friday with comments from its user community around the world and since 2014, ending the video with the provocation, “soon”.
Although the word “smartwatch” is never mentioned explicitly here, the background images make it very clear that this is a teaser for the OnePlus Watch. After all, writing has been on the wall for a while, and the launch of the OnePlus Band earlier this year just left users wanting even more for a suitable smartwatch. Now, it’s coming, because “you asked for it.” And, you know, smartwatches are very popular.
Of course, March 23 will not only see the debut of OnePlus Watch. The company also confirmed that its next flagship smartphone line, the OnePlus 9 series, will be announced on that date.
