OnePlus updates most of its phones on a bimonthly schedule, but even in the months when a particular model receives security patches, OTA usually arrives a month (or more) after Google releases the fixes. For sure, OnePlus Nord is now receiving its December 2020 security patches with just a few days left in January.

OnePlus is now launching OxygenOS 10.5.10 for Nord, with a build number of 10.5.10.AC01DA in India, 10.5.10.AC01BA in Europe and 10.5.10.AC01AA everywhere else. The main change for all regions is the inclusion of Android’s December security patch level, which was released for Google’s Pixel smartphones on December 7. The full changelog is below.

System

  • Android security patch updated to 2020.12
  • GMS package updated to 2020.09
  • General bug fixes and improved stability

OnePlus Store

  • An intuitive and convenient way to manage your OnePlus account, get easy access support, discover exciting benefits for members only and purchase OnePlus products. (Note that it can be uninstalled) – IN only

Nord owners in India have an extra surprise: the OnePlus Store app is pre-installed. The company says the app can be uninstalled, but more bloatware is generally never a good thing. OxygenOS 10.5.10 is being rolled out gradually, but you may be able to get it in advance with OxygenUpdater.
