Leaked images of the unannounced OnePlus 9 Pro suggest that the flagship smartphone will include a series of Hasselblad cameras. The images shared in a recent video by Dave Lee on YouTube show four cameras on the back of the phone. This includes wide-angle, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses, the last of which appears to offer an optical zoom of up to 3.3x.
At this point, it is unclear exactly what the Hasselblad brand might mean for OnePlus 9 Pro cameras. The Swedish manufacturer, majority owned by Chinese company DJI, is best known for its expensive medium format cameras and has worked with Lenovo in a modular camera accessory for Moto Z devices, as well as with Vertu for your Signature Touch smartphone. Hopefully, the presence of its logo means that Hasselblad has provided some real camera knowledge for OnePlus in addition to the brand cache.

Although Dave Lee describes three of the phone’s four rear cameras, it is not obvious what the last sensor might be. The previous OnePlus phones offered new features such as a color filter camera and a monochrome black and white sensor. Dave Lee’s video mentions that the phone could have an integrated tilt-shift photography mode that could relate to the fourth sensor, but it could also be just a depth sensor or macro camera based on previous OnePlus phones.
In addition to the set of cameras, the photos shared on the Dave2D channel corroborate a previous leak reported by Android Authority who said the phone will include a curved 1440p 120Hz display. The device shown by Dave Lee appears to have an unusual 11 GB of RAM (most other phones have 12 GB or 8 GB) and 256 GB of internal storage. A separate report previously stated that the phone will be able to charge quickly at 45 W wireless, above the OnePlus 8 Pro’s 30 W wireless fast charging speed.
The OnePlus 9 Pro should be one of two or even three phones announced by the company next month, Android Central reports. Beside it, we could see the OnePlus 9 (which leaked in a series of photos last December), as well as a more affordable OnePlus 9 Lite.
