One person went to work sick. The outbreak that followed killed seven. – Hot air

The county did not say where the person worked, but Douglas county officials are calling these decisions “super spreader actions” and are sounding the alarm to prevent more from happening.

It is a different turnaround in over-sprawling events, in which people consciously ignore public health guidelines to come together in large groups, said Bob Dannenhoffer, county public health officer. With super spreading actions, it can boil down to a person’s choices.

“The most recent and most worrying trend is that we are seeing cases where residents are choosing to go to work and school when they are still sick,” he said in a statement. “We cannot even imagine the tremendous remorse these people are feeling now, and we sympathize with them.”
