WWE, professional wrestling in general, has had several important men over the years who have pushed the boundaries and redefined how giant players were seen in the business.
Kurt Angle worked with many physically imposing Superstars during his heyday, and Olympic gold medalist Kane and The Undertaker as the two greatest great men of his career.
During the last episode of ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ on AdFreeShows, the WWE Hall of Famer talked about the fight he had with Kane in 2001 in preparation for that year’s WWE No Way Out PPV.
Kurt Angle said he had a lot of fun working with Kane in WWE and praised the Big Red Machine’s agility and athletic capabilities.
“It was great. One of the best big guys I’ve ever worked with. He had a knack for, you know, what he did in the ring. He was incredible. Great athlete for his size.”
They weren’t too hard to work with: Kurt Angle on why Undertaker and Kane are two of the greatest bigwigs in WWE history

Angle also mentioned Kane’s kayfabe brother Undertaker and explained why the Destruction Brothers were the best when it came to working in the ring of giant fighters. Kurt Angle revealed that Kane and Undertaker were light and did everything in the ring to make their fights smoother.
Big men are famous for being hard to work with, but Kane and Undertaker were different and highly proficient in their craft. Angle said it was actually easy to work with Kane and Undertaker, and that’s a big compliment for fighters as big as the Brothers of Destruction.
“He and Undertaker were the two best big guys I ever walked into the ring with. They weren’t heavy on your feet. They were light. They jumped at you when you gave them a suplex. They weren’t too hard to work with, it was very easy to work with them, and that is a great compliment for anyone of this size in the business. “
While The Undertaker officially ended his career at the WWE Survivor Series last year, Kane would follow the tradition and return to the most recent Royal Rumble men’s fight.
Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, is busy as Mayor of Knox County, and although he may continue to appear sporadically on WWE TV, his days as an active artist in the ring are long gone.
