Rio Ferdinand, however, tweeted: “Shambles going on here … ffs.”
Referee Kevin Friend had a big decision to make after a Luke Shaw foul was missed, prompting United to split up and Edinson Cavani to be taken down.
Amigo initially gave Robert Brady a yellow card, before going to the monitor to take a second look at the challenge.
There were fears in Burnley’s camp that Friend might update the red card, since Brady was the last man.

But instead, Friend again observed the formation of the foul and looked more closely at Luke Shaw’s foul on Johann Gudmundsson.
He then decided that Shaw should have been reserved for the challenge, so he resumed play until that moment and removed Brady’s yellow card.
Burnley then took a free-kick at the entrance to the Manchester United area, but the dead ball came to nothing.
Solskjaer was watching the drama unfold from the sideline and, according to MEN, was heard saying, “A lot of nonsense.”
Manchester United could reach the top of the Premier League with a victory over Sean Dyche’s Burnley at Turf Moor, before Livrpool’s clash with the Red Devils on Sunday.
