A former PS4 exclusive will arrive on the Xbox Series X early next year. When the Xbox Series X launched last month, it did so with more power and goodwill than the PS5, but that was hampered by the lack of attractive games, especially the exclusive variety. Xbox Game Studios is still working to deal with the latter, but for now, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S players have a new game to look forward to, one that was exclusive to PS4 at one point.
Publisher Merge Games and developer Infuse Studio announced that Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S sometime in the beginning of 2021. When exactly during the first part of 2021, it was not released, but the pair noted that the game will only be available digitally.
Northern Spirit debuted in November 2019, only via PS4 and PS4. Then, in May 2020, the game arrived on the Nintendo Switch and the PC. This was followed by the launch of the “Enhanced Edition” on November 26th. At the moment, this version can only be played on PS5, but that will change in early 2021.
“Northern Spirit is a third-person adventure game for a player inspired by Iceland’s breathtaking and mysterious landscapes, “says an official game speech.” Play as a common red fox whose history is confused with the guardian of the Northern Lights, a fox of the female spirit. “
At the time of publication, pricing information has not been released, but the game costs $ 20 on the PS5, so it’s safe to assume that it will cost $ 20 on the Xbox Series X as well. Interestingly, the game is available on retail on PS5, but as noted, there is no news of a physical edition on Xbox Series X.
