Almost every year, we see a parade of former Ohio players in the NFL draft. This year should be no different, but, unlike other years, there may not be as many tickets in the first round as we are used to. In fact, according to ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr., he expects only one Buckeye to enter the first 32 choices of his 2021 NFL draft.
We probably don’t need to say who that player is, but we will do it anyway. He may have fallen a little in the draft, but Kiper believes that quarterback Justin Fields is still going very, very early in the NFL Draft because – well, it’s a quarterback league and Fields is one of the best on the board.
But where Kiper is going to Fields can be a little surprising.
