Ohio State welcomes first Stellar 2021 Recruiting Class registrants

The first 15 applicants for Ohio State’s second 2021 recruiting class are starting their college careers this weekend and are being warmly welcomed upon arrival in Columbus.

Unlike last year’s freshman crop, this group will almost certainly participate in winter conditioning and a full spring camp. Last March, the first 2020 registrants underwent only three practices before the COVID-19 pandemic ended all team activities.

But with updated test standards in place, Buckeyes should be able to practice safely this spring, which is huge for an Ohio state team that needs to replace key players / contributors and freshmen who can make an immediate impact in the fall.

The 15 new Buckeyes are being received from nine different states and a different country (cheers to Australian gambler Jesse Mirco), and Ohio State Football’s official Twitter account is posting pictures of the freshmen when they arrive.

Congratulations to these huge human beings and welcome to Colombo.
