The Buckeyes closed out as a 6.5-point underdog against Clemson, marking the first time Ohio State was a loser this season.

This marks the biggest spread the Buckeyes have faced since they closed as a 7.5 point underdog the last time they faced Alabama at the 2015 Sugar Bowl – a game the Buckeyes won 42-35.

After Friday’s victory over Clemson, Ohio State is now 8-1 as an underdog since 2012, with last year’s game for Clemson being the only defeat.
