We are finally here – the college football playoff! In a year that has been sluggish, it’s hard to believe that 2020 is almost over and the college football season that is barely ending.
With 6-0, Ohio State is in familiar territory, back to the CFP for the fourth time and the first consecutive game. The Buckeyes also know their opponent well, facing the Clemson Tigers for the third consecutive time in the playoff history.
The first two times on the dance floor with the Tigers did not go as planned, one was a monumental constraint, the other an all-time classic, both ending with OSU on the wrong side of the scoreboard.
Most believe the Buckeyes have little or no chance of toppling Clemson at the Sugar Bowl on January 1. But that’s why we play, and in a season as strange as 2020 has been … anything can happen.
