On Saturday, the International Fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha said in a statement that a new member of the fraternity’s Delta Beta Chapter was involved in an “alleged alcohol-related hazing incident at an off-campus event.”

“The International Brotherhood is horrified and outraged by this incident,” said the statement. “The Brotherhood has a zero tolerance policy towards illegal activities, substance abuse, bullying and prank calls of any kind.”

The fraternity said it placed the Chapter Beta Beta of Pi Kappa Alpha in the school in administrative suspension.

Foltz, 20, a sophomore at the university’s College of Business, was dropped off at his apartment by members of the fraternity after the event, where he was found by his roommates, Alto said, according to The Columbus Dispatch. The companions called 911 and Foltz was transported to a hospital in “terrible condition”, added the lawyer.

A lawyer for the Foltz family told Fox News that a large amount of alcohol was “consumed in a very short period of time”. While a student whose roommate was promising Pi Kappa Alpha to Foltz told WTOL that the promises were told to drink a handful of alcohol on Thursday night.

“I have never seen my roommate drunk in his life. He immediately went to the bathroom and was vomiting in the bathroom for just 15 minutes at a time and making himself vomit,” said the roommate to the station.
