Penn State offered Flowers in June 2019 and immediately took the lead in its recruitment. The Central Pennsylvania product was visited immediately twice and Lions of Nittany have long been considered favorites. Offers from the state of Arizona and West Virginia made things interesting, but Penn State stood firm before winning an appointment on New Year’s Day.

Flowers is a great athlete who can play both safety and wide receiver at the next level and has the potential to be a conference team in any position. He has a good structure and is already well set up, but he could probably play quite easily with 205 pounds.

He is a physical striker who has become adept at aiming the ball away and making sure the ball is away from his body. In addition, he is a great weapon after capture, as he is deceptively astute and his long strides make him difficult to take down.

With Anthony Ivey and Kaden Saunders already on board, the Lions of Nittany currently have the best wide receiver recruitment class in the country, which is a great compliment to new wide receiver coach Taylor Stubblefield. Having the other two on board also allows Lions of Nittany to be fluid with Flowers’ position and put him in the best spot to succeed at the next level.
