Officials warn of continuing outbreaks of COVID-19 at companies across Los Angeles County

LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Authorities are warning of outbreaks of COVID-19 at companies across Los Angeles County, where the virus continues to spread at alarming rates.

Public health records show that there are at least 538 outbreaks of public companies across the region, the highest number ever recorded since the pandemic began.

One of the most affected companies is Target, with more than 323 positive cases in at least 14 locations, including 41 that have been documented only in Van Nuys.

Whole Foods reported 92 positive cases among employees in six locations, while Home Depot reported 236 cases in nine locations.

County officials say no customers have been affected by the outbreaks, although it is difficult to say.
