C Seed is no stranger to extravagant TVs, but his latest set takes things to a higher level. And a giant at that.
The newly announced M1 from the Austrian company is a foldable 4K MicroLED TV set that rises from the floor like a robot when you are ready to watch a big game or eat your favorite show. Although this alone makes it worth noting, so does its size, as the set measures a huge 165 inches diagonally.
You can enjoy watching the M1 on as well as watching an episode of The Sopranos in him. When you are ready to sit and watch a show or film, a hidden compartment on the floor opens, an obelisk-like column rises and, once standing, the folded screen opens before locking, place it on the base of the set. Basically, it’s a Transformer that turns into a TV and doesn’t take up space when you’re doing something else.
So impressive is the vibrant, crystal clear image quality of the TV from its 165-inch 4K MicroLED screen. The screen is coated with a special surface screen that ensures that the black areas are rich and accurate, while the company’s Adaptive Gap Calibration Technology makes the border between each of the screen’s foldable panels totally invisible. Built into the set’s aviation-level aluminum frame is a pair of 250-watt broadband speakers and a 700-watt subwoofer, helping to create an immersive viewing experience.
C Seed is announcing the M1 as the “world’s first 165-inch foldable MicroLED TV” and technical innovations like this are not cheap. The set, which is available in four finishes – Black, Gold, Silver and “Titan” matte – will cost $ 400,000.
Surprisingly, the M1 is not the company’s largest foldable TV. This title belongs to the brand’s 301-inch outdoor TV. It is far from being so elegant and its image quality cannot be compared to the M1, but it can withstand the elements and measures an incredible 25 feet by 19 feet.
