NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU with cryptocurrency cooled with mineral oil and liquid localized mining probes

We’ve all seen some crazy cryptocurrency mining platforms, but the latest ones take it a step further by placing multiple NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs under premium cooling. The settings were detected by I_Leak_VN showing mining platforms using premium custom loop kits and even mineral oil to cool GeForce RTX GPUs.

The first system pictured includes a total of 10 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPUs. The GeForce RTX 3090 is currently the fastest video card for mining cryptocurrency, especially ETH (Ethereum). The GPU also requires a lot of cooling to keep it running at a steady state, especially when you’re really pushing those 19.5 GDDR6X, 12 memory modules on each side of the printed circuit board. The equipment is huge and made to fit all graphics cards.

You can see each NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 using what appears to be a Bitspower water block based on the back plate and logo. Each plate is equipped with a 280 mm radiator and three Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W PSUs attached to it. The all-aluminum frame has GPUs coming out of riser cables that are attached to the MSI B360-F PRO mining motherboard that allows up to 18 GPUs at once. All GPUs when loaded in mining provide temperatures below 50 ° C, which are impressive, but also expected, given the use of cooling for enthusiasts.

The second PC is from a cryptocurrency mining facility in Vietnam and the user here is running a total of 8 ASUS GeForce RTX GPUs that are cooled by mineral oil. Mineral oil cooling has its own advantages over standard liquid cooling and ensures that all components are cooled at the same rate, instead of varying temperatures in GPU, VRAM and VRMs. The entire PC is submerged in the coolant and we can also expect lower temperatures when the cards are running in cryptocurrency mining operations.

Nor can we forget the insane RGB-Lit cryptocurrency mining equipment that has 78 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards. You can check out more about that here.
