Now you can play ‘Maiden’ demo from Resident Evil Village on PS5

If you have a PlayStation 5, you probably know that there’s not much to play right now – especially if you’re done with games like Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls and Astro’s Playroom. But here’s something (very briefly) to help you: now you can download the Resident Evil Village “Maiden” demo before the full game release date announced on May 7. It wasn’t available on the PS Store at the beginning, but it’s been there for about an hour.

On my PS5’s PlayStation Store, the game was featured in the front and center in the “What’s hot” section for me, and I was able to start the download with a few button clicks. But if you’re away from your PS5 and want to download the demo remotely so you’re ready to play later, there are a few ways to do that, too.

• If you’re using a browser, here’s the link to Of the maiden PlayStation Store listing, where you can add the game to your library.
• If you’re using the PlayStation app for mobile devices, tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen and search for “single”. For me, Maiden was the fourth result of the survey. Touch it and you can start the download from there.
• In the mobile app, you can also access the Maiden page of Resident Evil Village listing by tapping the box above the order button and selecting Maiden from the list of editions for Villa.

Maiden it’s a separate experience from Resident Evil Village Where you play as a character known as “the maiden” instead of From the village protagonist, Ethan Winters. If you want to know more about the demo before downloading, check out this post on the PlayStation Blog.

Resident Evil Village will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC on May 7. Capcom says a “multiplatform demo” for the game will be available this spring.
