Novitec is a rarity among German tuning companies. Many will not even think about turning on a supercar’s turbos and installing a squeaky exhaust without also equipping it with an over-the-top carbon fiber bodykit. Novitec will do this if you want, of course, but it tends to take a more subtle approach.
See the company’s new modified Ferrari F8 Tribute and its “aerodynamic enhancement kit with pure carbon”. Whether the subtle add-ons and the sensitive spoiler give any tangible aerodynamic benefit is beside the point – we think this looks great, especially with those gold-painted Vossen alloys (21 inches at the front, 22s at the rear). We need not have worried.
As for performance – Novitec transformed the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 with torque of 791bhp and 662lb ft of torque, 81bhp and 94 lb ft increases over the standard. 0-62 mph undoubtedly takes 2.6 seconds with limited grip (0.3 seconds faster than the standard), and the top speed is considered “more than 211 mph”.
Other mechanical changes include an Inconel exhaust and a 35 mm suspension drop. The interior of this particular car looks standard, but Novitec promises that there are “countless options” to meet the owner’s “personal preferences”.
Did you like the look of the Novitec F8 too, or were we a little crazy?
