No More Room in Hell 2 has just received a Steam page, which now labels the game ‘soon’ on Early Access, where it will remain for about a year.
A sequel to the 2011 Source engine mod, No More Room in Hell 2 is powered by Unreal Engine technology and will be priced (around twenty dollars), although its developers at Lever Games are still moving forward with the project in their spare time. With the revenue coming from Steam, they will have a chance to be more focused on finishing the game full time.
The final version will eventually feature more of everything from weapons to cosmetics, while other possibilities include adding human NPCs to No More Room in Hell 2, a crafting system and even PvP modes.
The world suffered the Kulon pandemic, which induced coma or death in its victims for more than a year. Governments struggled to quarantine infected cities or collapsed when millions were infected. Scientists had a promising vaccine ready for distribution until those infected began to die, only to wake up with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. Chaos and death leave you and the remaining survivors in the most desperate struggles of your life as you run, stab, crush and make way for safety.

Needless to say, this goes against Turtle Rock’s Back 4 Blood, which will be released in June 2021, in terms of specific niche.
