No haircuts blocked here! Kate Middleton shows VERY long locks on video call

Women across the UK were left with over-grown bangs and longer-than-normal hair due to hairdressers being closed during confinement – and the Duchess of Cambridge is no different.

Kate Middleton, 39, had noticeably longer hair during her most recent virtual engagement.

Her dark curls cascaded over her left shoulder as she chatted with nurses at Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust university hospitals via video link on Thursday to hear about her work and thank them for their efforts.

The Duchess, who is stuck with her family at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, is setting an example by doing her own hair and growing her style, explained celebrity stylist James Johsnon.

‘Fewer cuts gave your hair time to grow and grow, and undoubtedly having less styling encouraged your hair to look healthy!’, He told Femail.

– Like many at the moment, I think the lock has forced many to try new styles that they normally wouldn’t do with the pre-lock, the long, grown hair really suits her.

‘Less movement and flicky are in fashion, proving again why she is a hair icon.’

The Duchess of Cambridge’s hair looked longer before Christmas, but she wore it in bulky curls that made it look shorter than it really was.

Straightening your hair, as you did in the most recent video call, reveals the total length.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked ready for the video call with the NHS team on Tuesday, wearing a crisp white shirt under a classic blazer.

Keeping the ‘less is more’ approach, Kate kept her accessories simple and added a delicate necklace and a pair of simple earrings.

During the call, Kate heard the moving story of a senior nurse who took the hand of a dying patient and played in her favorite band, Bon Jovi, after his wife was unable to get to her bed.

Kate praised Vasu Lingappa for going further and shared a lighter moment with the NHS official who joked that the patient’s wife wanted him to sing the rock group’s successes – but he declined because of his strong Asian accent.

She called the Queen’s property in Sandringham on Tuesday after the monarch lent her and Prince William the residence to use as a base for work during the blockade.

The large Norfolk estate is empty, as the monarch and Prince Philip are in Windsor to be confined and are not open to the public.

The duke and duchess live on the same street with their children in the 10-room Anmer Hall, but have set up a small temporary office with their team in Sandringham.

During the call, Mr. Lingappa, an intensive care professional, said to the Duchess: ‘Many people are dying and we usually have families around them during the last hour, but we cannot do that.

‘And if I can give you a small example, we had a gentleman and, unfortunately, he was dying, so we spoke to his wife and she said,’ I can’t go and see him, but you can be sure to sing Bon Jovi and hold his hand? ‘.

‘And I said,’ If I sing Bon Jovi with my accent, it won’t be appropriate. ‘ So I took out my phone and played a video of Bon Jovi on YouTube and held his hand. ‘

He continued: ‘It has been difficult, but as I said before, I am surrounded by some incredible people with many skills and inspiring stories.

‘We are nurses (some) working in intensive care for 30 years, 35 years, 40 years – so there is nothing they have not seen, but this is unprecedented.’

After hearing the exciting story, Kate said to the nurses, ‘You hear it over and over again about the incredible things that nurses are doing across the country – going beyond.

‘It is the things that, you know, are not part of the training and the things you have taught, but the things that come from your heart.

‘I think that’s what matters so much now, these acts of kindness towards the patients you care for, who are in your care, that family members cannot be there, but you are going beyond and being there. ‘
