The NCAAW 2020-21 women’s basketball season is finally here! Although disappointing cancellations and postponements have already been announced due to problems related to COVID-19, 13 of the top 25 teams in the country will be in action on the opening day.
As previously reported, UConn will be out of action until at least December 15th, but there will be plenty of basketball to watch over Thanksgiving weekend. The action can be viewed through a number of streaming options, as none of the opening weekend matches are shown on television.
A must-see game on Wednesday
No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks (0-0) vs. Charleston Cougars (0-0)

No. 14 Arkansas Razorbacks (0-0) vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (0-0)
What to watch: Arkansas kicks off the Gulf Coast Showcase against Wake Forest, which also features No. 12 Maryland, No. 24 Missouri State, Florida Gulf Coast University and Davidson.

Saturday’s must-see game
No. 12 Maryland Terrapins (0-0) vs. No. 24 Missouri State Bears (0-0)
What to watch: Ashley Owusu, one of the nation’s top sophomores, leads the Terrapins against a Missouri squad led by Brice Calip, the Bears’ top scorer. This is one of the two Top 25 clashes that take place on Saturday. The 13th Texas A&M Aggies play the 19th DePaul Blue Demons.
