NJ Weather: 11 Forecasts Final Snow Forecasts for Our Last Winter Storm

Snow began to fall in New Jersey on Thursday morning, and although some forecasters think a persistent hail can reduce the build-up in some areas, many climate experts still ask for 5 to 20 centimeters of snow in northern counties. and the center of the state before our newest winter storm subsides on Friday.

AccuWeather continues to forecast 15 to 30 centimeters of snow in most of the northern half of New Jersey, and some forecasters say that up to 25 centimeters can cover a large area of the Garden State on Friday afternoon. But others are calling lower numbers because they expect sleet and freezing rain to mix with the snow.

Winter storm warnings are in effect in 12 counties in Garden State, and the other nine counties are under winter weather warnings because of snow, ice and potentially dangerous road conditions.

Here’s a look at the latest snowfall forecasts in our region, including those from the National Weather Service, AccuWeather, New Jersey private meteorologists, and local TV and radio meteorologists.
