A New Jersey gym owner is publicizing Krispy Kreme’s popular free donut offering to vaccinated customers – handing out free subscriptions to people who haven’t been vaccinated.
Ian Smith, co-owner of The Atilis Gym, located in Bellmawr, NJ, tweeted the provocative offer earlier this week, generating a storm of controversy in the process.
“In light of @Krispy Kreme giving free donuts to receive the CVD injection, here at @TheAtilisGym we are distributing free subscriptions to everyone who is not vaccinated. We believe in health – the real way – exercise, good nutrition, plenty of vitamin D, zinc and an environment to de-stress “, tweeted Smith.
The tweet sparked anger online, with many users criticizing it.

“Yes, thank you for supporting Bellmawar’s most famous killer … Ian says he doesn’t shy away from his mistakes, but is causing more deaths by discouraging vaccinations. Believe in science. You use cell phones, for God’s sake,” replied one Twitter user.
Another shot back: “VITAMIN CANNOT GET COVED FREE. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE THING YOU’RE DOING.”
Some users, however, have defended Smith and his detractors.
“Why all the hatred ??? Everyone is welcome to have their own opinions,” wrote one user.
“God bless you. Good health comes from NATURE, not from scientific experiments,” said another.

It is unclear whether Smith will actually honor his offer, but the owner of the academy is famous for thwarting pandemic-related policies.
Smith, who made headlines when he challenged the order to stay at home in New Jersey last May, was recently banned from American Airlines after refusing to wear a mask on his return trip from the Conservative Political Action Conference in late February. .
At CPAC, the gym owner criticized Garden State’s blocking rules as “unconstitutional” after he was hit with more than $ 1.2 million in fines for keeping his gym open during the pandemic.

After being arrested several times for defying the rules, Smith sued New Jersey governor Phil Murphy for his government’s decision to close non-essential deals and impose a quarantine. A judge ended up on the side of New Jersey and closed Atilis Gym last July. It was reopened after Murphy lifted the gym shutdown order on September 1.
