Nintendo Co., Ltd unveiled a new Twitter account today that will update fans on the company’s financial and business news.
You can find and follow the account at @NintendoCoLtd if you are interested; seems to have been set up primarily for a Japanese audience, although a welcome tweet has been translated into English:
“We opened this Twitter account to provide corporate news and investor relations news for Nintendo Co., Ltd .. Financial announcements and other corporate information will be shared on this account. Please note that we will not respond to messages or questions.”
Nintendo’s next major financial launch is scheduled to take place in early February; at that time each year, the company shares its nine-month earnings and provides updates on its business strategy and results for the included period. This information is generally not shared on any form of social media, but maybe Nintendo plans to change that going forward?
