Today’s Dealmaster is marked by a nifty $ 10 discount on Nintendo’s Switch Pro Controller, as the gamepad is available for $ 59 at various stores. Although we have seen the controller drop as low as $ 50 in the past, deals on the Switch Pro pad are generally rare, and this deal corresponds to the lowest price we tracked last year. Nintendo normally sells the device for $ 70.

We previously recommended the Switch Pro Controller in our guide to the best Nintendo Switch accessories. It is only worth buying if you regularly attach your switch to a TV, but if that is the case, it will provide a significant comfort upgrade over Nintendo’s standard Joy-Con controls. The shape is more spacious and easier to hold, the buttons are larger and provide a more satisfying feedback feeling, there is a genuine directional pad and the whole thing gets excellent 35-40 hours of battery life per charge. It also maintains the same motion control and scanning capabilities as Amiibo, and can be used with Steam on the PC if necessary.
