The holiday season means more time to play the games on your to-do list, so it’s especially good that there are lots of sales on Nintendo’s eShop right now.
You should check out the eShop to see all the many, many discounts available. Among them are sales from Ubisoft, Capcom, EA and Bandai Namco – so everything is really happening. Below you will find six discounted games that are worth your time this holiday season.
Supergiant Games
Launched in September, Hades tops several Games of the Year lists and scored 9 out of 10 on GameSpot, our sister site. All of this makes it especially exciting that Hades has a 20% discount on Nintendo’s eShop, and that will stay until January 2nd.
Another indie darling for your vacation. Originally released in 2017, Cuphead made 2D hot again. Inspired by cartoons from the 1930s, this sidescroller is incredibly charming – and surprisingly difficult. It’s a 30% discount until January 2nd.

One of the major annoyances about this generation of games is that there was no new Burnout title. Those were some of the best drivers on PlayStation 2, and Burnout Paradise was fantastic on Xbox 360 and PS3. You are now connected and discounted at $ 25.
AND THE
Unravel Two is a beautiful platform where you take control of a small wire … thing. It is a sequel to the original Unravel, adding the element of cooperative play. Fortunately, you can still play the game yourself – something you’ll want to do while Unravel Two is selling for just $ 5.

South Park: The Stick of Truth was originally released in 2014, but it remains one of the strongest licensed games you can buy. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the gang behind Fallout New Vegas and The Outer Worlds, this South Park game takes on RPG and fantasy troops. It’s funny (if you like South Park, an important warning) and costs $ 12 until August 30th.
A big discount on a big game. Dragon Ball FighterZ is one of the best fighting games on the Switch. It was released in 2018 with universal acclaim and has since been updated with new characters and levels. It’s a huge $ 50 discount until December 31st.
