A new leak from Nintendo reveals the identity of 5 major Switch titles, expected to launch in 2021. Here’s what to expect:

There is nothing that raises the levels of emotion like a Nintendo leak. Despite his best efforts to keep details under control, the Japanese developer is notoriously bad at preventing leaks.

Now, another major leak from Nintendo is emerging, and this reveals what’s to come in 2021. Although Nintendo hasn’t yet revealed much about the upcoming releases of the year, this new leak promises some big drops.

Big Nintendo Switch Leak

5 new Nintendo Switch games released in 2021

2021 is an exciting year, as it marks the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise. Players were expecting a big reveal for the series’ anniversary celebrations and it looks like they won’t be disappointed.

A new post from Nintendo leaker PH Brasil on Twitter reveals a photo of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, indicating that we will have a release later this year. Given how late the first Breath of the Wild ended up being, we could simply be having a release date for 2022, but it will be great to know more.

Previously, a Nintendo leak suggested that Breath of the Wild 2 would end up being a launch title for Switch Pro. However, Nintendo is only addressing the Switch Pro rumors.

Next on the spill list is Splatoon, which is still one of Nintendo’s most popular new IPs. Given that support for Splatoon 2 has declined, this is the perfect time to announce the long-awaited follow-up.

Samus Aran is also shown in the leak, prompting fans to speculate on the first Metroid Prime 4 game we’ve been waiting for years. Metroid is a series that has dedicated followers, and no major new releases, so fans would be excited to learn more about the next title.

The last original post was the Fire Emblem series. Of course, it’s no surprise to Nintendo fans that a new Fire Emblem is on the way.

After the success of Fire Emblem: 3 Houses, it will be interesting to see what Nintendo has to offer. However, the iconic character Marth is shown in the image, possibly suggesting that the Fire Emblem hero (and the Super Smash Bros. fighter) made another appearance.

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Leak for 2021

In a follow-up post, PH Brazil continues with the revelation that a Pokémon title is, in fact, coming. And judging by the presence of the legendary Pokémon Dialga, we think we know what’s on the way.

For a long time, rumors of a remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl have been circulating. Some fans even believe that the possibility of an open-world Pokémon Diamond and Pearl is almost certain.

But whatever is to come, this is just another nod that we are really returning to Gen 4 this year. Given that this is one of the best generations of the Pokémon franchise, we can’t wait to see more of Nintendo itself.

Considering this latest leak, the remakes are likely to hit the Nintendo Switch in 2021. Although we’re looking at a complete remake or a re-release on a new platform, we still need to see.

It also looks like the new Pokémon movie will shed light on Ash Ketchum’s father. This exciting revelation is something that fans expected long before the original release of Diamond and Pearl.
