Nintendo announced two remakes of the Famicom Detective Club for Switch

Two old school mystery and murder games are coming to the Nintendo Switch. Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Herir and Famicom Detective Club: the girl left behind are receiving new remakes scheduled for May 14, Nintendo announced during the Nintendo Direct event in February.

At the The Lost Heir, players will solve a murder mystery in a haunted village involving a wealthy family, while dealing with their own amnesia. meanwhile in The girl behind, players will go to a Japanese school to investigate a supernatural rumor surrounding the mysterious death of a student.

These two detective games were originally released for the Famicom Disk System in the late 1980s and allow players to explore mysteries with text-based commands. You can explore various locations, examine items or interrogate the characters in the game. Both games have been fully updated with modern graphics, gameplay and voice acting, but retain the same mysteries as their original versions.

Both Famicom Detective Club games will be available on the Nintendo Switch on May 14 and can be pre-ordered from the eShop now.
