Nike Kobe 6 Protro All-Star version information DH9888-600 2021

In just 6 days, an entire year will have passed since the death of Kobe Bryant, a loss that will be felt by many, many more to come. And while it is still a difficult subject to address for most, Nike has taken on the task of honoring the legend by continuing its line of exclusive footwear. Soon, probably for the All-Star Weekend next month, the brand will pay homage to previous releases of Kobe 6, such as the “All-Star” colorway offered in 2011.

Although provoked not long ago by internal sources, the pair has already appeared through official images. Its design, which follows the execution of previous offers, remains close to 1: 1 with the original, its upper part coated in bright red scales. A layer below, a subtle gradient spreads across the top, darkening mostly around the edges in a similar way to a vignette. At the rear, the heel counter, the tongue and the midsole are treated with polished black, while the rest of the tool below contrasts in white and then in ice blue. What’s more, it is likely that the next Protro will feature some hidden upgrades like the “Grinch” before it: Air Zoom Turbo will be hidden in the forefoot, a softer and more responsive foam will provide the heel and the tread will arrive with an improved standard traction.

Take a detailed look at the Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star” below, and if you’re looking to further imitate the original, you can expect a February release in February. But as the anniversary of Kobe’s death is approaching, it is possible that we will see some kind of drop in the Nike SNKRS.

You heard? University Blue Jordan 1 has just been delayed.
