Square Enix publisher and developer Toylogic released a 10-minute game video for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… nicknamed “The Sterile Temple”.
The video shows the protagonist, in his youth, as he visits the desert kingdom of Facade with the fierce warrior Kaine and the magical book Grimoire Weiss. After his visit, he investigates the Barren Temple, where his exploration culminates in a boss battle against a swarm of mysterious and sensitive cubes.
Square Enix also released videos featuring the game’s newly arranged tracks, including “Snow in Summer” and “Kaine”, as well as a sample of 10 arrangement tracks from the Weiss edition featured on the special soundtrack CD set included in the edition White Snow’s limited NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139….
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 22, 2021 in Japan and Asia, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America and Europe, and PC via Steam worldwide on April 23.
