Niantic reveals last-minute updates for Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto

A few hours before the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto started, Niantic revealed important last-minute details for the event.

All Pokémon from the previous hours (19h to 21h)

Those looking for regional, like Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Tauros and Mr. Mime will find them in attacks.

Legendary attack chiefs include legendary birds – Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres – and Mewtwo, that should be the main target for everyone.

Wildcard Pokémon that rarely appear in the wild include Lickitung, Chansey, Tangela, Lapras, and Aerodactyl . The grand prize of the event is brilliant Snorlax. It will appear in the jungle and in attacks as well.

The version-specific Pokémon was mentioned in a previous post, but I assume you’ve already chosen its color – red or green – if you’re reading this. Use this information to plan your day and keep in mind, YOU MUST USE THE INCENSE TO ATTRACT THE EXCLUSIVE POKEMON FROM THE VERSION. Personally, this is making me reflect on my location for the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto. It may be wiser to look for an area that has a high gym density to access the invasions that will appear throughout the day.

Judging by live broadcasts in Australia, it appears that the brilliant rate is not as good as Community Day, but better than normal. It looks like people got 4 shiny Pokémon in two hours. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for a better rate when the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto moves west, but we’ll see.

BONUS
In addition to the schedule, Niantic also revealed some bonuses for players. Players will release item packs that include three remote raid passes and 200 Poke Balls. Players will also receive nine daily Raid Passes during event hours.

There are reports that players can make a special exchange five times. If this is true, players can trade for shiny and sought after Pokémon during the event. I advise you to use Lucky Friend trades to maximize the benefits.

For those trying to raise their Pokémon to level 50, Niantic said there is a candy bonus. There are unconfirmed reports that he can be very generous. One player said he obtained 93 Magikarp candies from a pinap capture.
