NHL postpones two more games

The NHL has postponed two more games of the Vegas Golden Knights, although no other player on the team appears on the list of Absences Related to the COVID Protocol. The games against the San Jose Sharks scheduled for Monday and Wednesday have been postponed and will be played later on the schedule.

At launch, the league specifies that three members of the Golden Knights technical team and one player (presumably Alex Pietrangelo, which is on the CPRA list) are currently isolating. Team training sites will remain closed until further notice.

The Golden Knights are scheduled to host at the Los Angeles Kings next February 5, although it is unclear whether the situation will be resolved by then. The league did not announce when the two games against the Sharks will be played, but now three games are postponed the Golden Knights should fit somewhere in their remaining schedule.

Perhaps the team’s four-day break in April, following a series against the Sharks, will be the easiest place to fit the games, although those postponements mean that there will be very little rest for Las Vegas at the end of the game.
