NFL stars advise Alabama’s Jaylen Waddle to withdraw from the national title game

Alabama star Jaylen Waddle made his first appearance in a game in almost three months as the team tries to defeat Ohio State for the national college football championship.

On Alabama’s first shot, Waddle took a 15-yard pass, but it seemed to fail. He hobbled across the field after the move. Najee Harris would later score near the goal line to put Crimson Tide in six points early in the game.

Waddle was returning from a broken ankle and it looked like he was not 100% healthy to play against Ohio State.

The wide receiver is expected to turn professional after the game and be chosen in the first round of the draft.

The NFL stars were wondering why he was playing, and saying that he should just go out alone.

Waddle has been out since late October, when he fractured his ankle against Tennessee. He had surgery after the game, but hasn’t played since.

Alabama’s offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian told reporters last week that Waddle had returned to training but did not investigate his status in the game for the national title.

“We will see where it goes from here,” said the coach. “Clearly, we have about a week or more until the game.”

Waddle had 557 receiving yards and four touchdowns in Alabama’s first four games of the season.
