NFL rumors: Rams trying to reinstate Leonard Floyd before the free agency

The Los Angeles Rams has yet to show its math on how to stay below the NFL 2021 salary cap, but Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network is reporting that the team would like to re-hire linebacker Leonard Floyd, regardless of the outcome. Pelissero reported that the Green Bay Packers were trying to do the same with running back Aaron Jones, and soon after, Jones re-signed for four years.

Will Floyd’s announcement come next?

The Rams signed Floyd to a free agency in 2020 on a one-year, $ 10 million contract, which was voidable years, which allowed his limit to be reached just $ 6.6 million.
