The Baltimore Ravens overcame their problems with the COVID-19 that devastated their team, remaining in the playoff dispute and currently with no players on the reserve list.
Now that the review has been completed, the NFL’s punishment is in place.
Sources say the Ravens were fined $ 250,000 for their role in the outbreak, but were not prevented from choosing recruitment. The substantial fine is the same as the New England Patriots received, but it falls short of the $ 350,000 that the Tennessee Titans were fined for their problems with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos were not fined by the NFL for their situation at COVID-19, which left them without a QB for a game. This is partly because the Broncos imposed discipline on the players themselves and the organization was not considered negligent. Their protocols were solid.
The Ravens had four exclusive strains of COVID-19 on their premises. Over the course of 10 days, nearly two dozen players were placed on the reserve list, including quarterback Lamar Jackson. The team suspended strength trainer Steve Saunders for not reporting his symptoms and not always wearing a mask.
The Ravens-Steelers game was postponed a few times before being played on a Wednesday. That day, there were no active positives. Before that, they had 10 consecutive days of at least one positive test.
