NFL Draft 2021: Help on the way to Daniel Jones of the Giants with the first simulated projections from Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network

For the fourth consecutive year, the New York Giants have a choice among the top 15 in the NFL Draft.

And for the fourth year in a row, they will use their primary choice to assist in the attack.

That’s what Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network designs for the Giants in their first simulation sketch.

No. 11: Jaylen Waddle · WR, Alabama

The giants are all Daniel Jones and now they need to give him some weapons outside.

It is no secret that the giants need to add pieces around Jones. And they certainly spent a lot of stock on the attack, taking the running back Saquon Barkley No. 2 in 2018, Jones No. 6 in 2019 and facing Andrew Thomas in No. 4 in 2020.

The biggest wide receivers in the NFL’s 2021 Draft are LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase and Waddle’s teammate in Alabama, the winner of the Heisman DeVonta Smith Trophy. Jeremiah designs Chase to the Miami Dolphins at No. 3 and Smith for the Detroit Lions at No. 7.

As for the top of the draft, after the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Trevor Lawrence of Clemson as No. 1, Jeremiah made the New York Jets make a surprise choice in No. 2: BYU quarterback Zach Wilson.

In another stunning, Jeremiah has Atlanta Falcons recruiting North Dakota State QB Trey Lance at No. 4. Jeremiah projects Ohio state quarterback, Justin Fields falls for the Carolina Panthers at No. 8.
