Next Xbox Game Pass game delayed the day before launch

The next notable game on the Xbox Game Pass was delayed the day before launch. Yesterday, January 5, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate were configured to be enhanced with a new game: Killer Queen Black. However, on January 4, the game’s official Twitter account announced that the game would no longer come to Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate on January 5, and was postponed to the first quarter of 2021, meaning it will now be released sometime between now and April 1, 2021.

According to the game’s official Twitter account, the delay is due to the developer’s commitment to quality. In this regard, he cites a “hiccup” in development, although he does not specify what that hiccup is.

“It is our commitment to quality that has hindered the Xbox release date,” said the game’s official Twitter account in a statement that accompanied the news. “Although we will not be available on the Game Pass for the original January 5 release date, we will be out in the first quarter of 2021 to offer an exceptional experience across all platforms and with our new Xbox players.”

For those who don’t know: Killer Queen Black, inspired by the original Queen murders, released in 2019 via Nintendo Switch and PC for a solid 83 on Metacritic. That said, it is not clear how robust your player base is today, which is relevant information because it is a multiplayer game.
