Next three FSU Basketball games have been postponed

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday evening that the next three Florida State men’s basketball games – on Boston College, in Pittsburgh is on Virginia Tech – have been postponed. The games were scheduled to be played on Tuesday, February 2, Saturday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 9.

FSU, who is ranked 19th in the Coaches Poll and 20th in the Top 25 of the Associated Press, was already in Boston, Massachusetts, on Monday for his game at Boston College. The postponement follows a positive test, subsequent quarantine and contact tracking within the Florida men’s basketball program. The team is adhering to the protocols described in the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available at theACC.com (Full report)

It is the second break of the season for the Seminoles. They played with Duke (January 2), in Syracuse (January 6) and in Pitt (January 9) postponed earlier this season. FSU came back from that break to win five in a row and five out of six in January. As things are now, FSU would return to action on Saturday, February 13, when they will host Wake Forest.

FSU is currently 10-3 in the season, including 6-2 against opponents of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Further updates and programming adjustments by the ACC will be announced at a later date.
