Next Nintendo Switch game for PC announced

The Nintendo Switch has become one of the preferred platforms for independent releases. Almost all of the big independent games released today seem to target Nintendo’s portable console hybrid, which makes sense considering how well so many titles of this type sell on the platform. However, if you don’t like playing indies on the Nintendo platform, one of the next most anticipated releases in space has been announced to arrive elsewhere.

Recently revealed, Axiom Verge 2 now it will reach the PC. Previously, the next Metrdoivania game, which was announced in 2019, was scheduled to arrive only for the Nintendo Switch. While the game does not yet have a specific release date, Thomas Happ, the game’s developer, confirmed that an exclusive PC release for the Epic Games Store is also in the cards for this year.

While Axiom Verge 2 will no longer be entirely exclusive to the Switch, it is still an exclusive console. Or, well, it’s for now, at least. In the past, Thomas Happ toyed with this Axiom Verge 2 may be coming to other consoles as well, although Switch is the only one that was announced at this point. Moving forward, there is a possibility that the PlayStation and Xbox platforms will join the fray.
