Michael Bidwill expects “seismic shift in talent” across the league this off season – ProFootballTalk
Bidwill noted the position in which some teams have an increasingly lower salary cap and joined others who are forecasting far more big names to hit the market as teams release them to maximize their roof space for 2021. He added that believes that this will lead to a shift in where talent is centered around the league.
“I think there will be a seismic shift in talent in the NFL,” said Bidwill. “You have teams designed to exceed the limit. You have teams designed to be well below expectations. I know that every free agent or potential free agent is thinking, ‘Well, they won’t be released.’ But there will be a lot of surprises for people here in a few weeks, when everyone has to go to the limit and start the free agency. And, my guess is, as I said, I see a big change, a seismic change, in terms of talent movement ”.
The truth is that we are already starting to see this.
